About Diane

 

I am Diane Gummow, the Studio Manager. As the mother of Bonnie, I am also very interested in fitness and health. Bonnie introduced me to the MOSSA Group Power program and the benefits of muscle strengthening and I was hooked. I started taking classes regularly about 17 years ago and I love what the exercise has done for me.   

You can find me at the Get Fit. front desk or participating in a class everyday! Please stop in and say hello. 

On a personal front, my husband, Cubby, and I have raised our 6 wonderful children in North Falmouth, and are now grandparents to 16 grand children. The classes at Get Fit. have enabled me to play an active role in their lives. 

I am so proud to be a part of Get Fit., and excited to have such a wonderful studio to share with the community.

Hi! My name is Bonnie Costa and I have been a group fitness junky since 2008. Freestyle step is where my addiction to motivating and encouraging people to work hard and get physical results began. I teach cycle, step hiit, kickboxing, occasional classic step aerobics pop up, and my favorite GROUP POWER. I have been certified in MOSSA Group Power since 2009. Words could never begin to express how this program has changed my life for the better. It is empowering and fun, but also physically challenging and rewarding. Power gives RESULTS. I couldn’t have dreamed of the strength that I have today, or the witnessing of members getting stronger alongside me. For me, playing a part in the physical and mental health of others is something I consider a gift. During nursing school in Boston, I taught in many city gyms, and NONE compare to the community we have here at Get Fit. 

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner, with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. I was lucky to focus my research and quality improvement project on lifestyle interventions for weight loss. Now I am the proud owner of my own practice located in the same building as Get Fit. What's Your Why? Wellness & Weight Management is a dream come true for me. A one stop shop for patients depending on what they are looking for. 

I am a MUSCLE enthusiast, as this is an endocrine organ we have control over building more of. It is the key to longevity and optimal functioning as we grow older. REAL FOOD and MOVEMENT are better than any medicine out there. Come see us at Get Fit. where we can help your mind and body, strength and endurance, muscle and bone health! I joined the MOSSA team beginning in 2010. My first certification was Group Active, and I was hooked! I realized I had a strong passion for fitness and a desire to share it with others. In order to grow both personally and professionally, I then became Blast (step) certified in 2011, quickly followed by CORE in 2012! I love ALL the fitne

 

I joined the MOSSA team beginning in 2010. My first certification was Group Active, and I was hooked! I realized I had a strong passion for fitness and a desire to share it with others. In order to grow both personally and professionally, I then became Blast (step) certified in 2011, quickly followed by CORE in 2012! I love ALL the fitness programs and am very excited to continue to teach at GET FIT. 

I have also been an AFAA certified aerobics instructor since 2001, My love for fitness all happened back in 1999, when I started taking kickboxing classes and found my calling. I have been teaching kickboxing and sculpting classes ever since, I also added a Zumba certification in 2009. 

After joining Get Fit. I became certified to teach Cycle in 2014, Tabata Bootcamp and Pilates in 2015, and in May of 2016 I became a certified Barre Above instructor. To me, in the fitness world- the sky is the limit. I found a way to keep exercise fun and exciting and want to share my passion with you.   

On the personal side, I am a busy mother of two. I have two kids, Mary, who is a psychiatric NP, and Dylan who is an athletic high-school kid now! I love being in the fitness business and it is so rewarding for me to help my clients become healthier, stronger and happier!

Hi, I'm Janet and I have been a certified Fitness Instructor since 2002 and received a Personal Trainer Certification in 2008. My additional certifications include Advanced Body Bar, Yoga, and Bender Barre Method. I am CPR certified and fully insured. 

In 2008 I was introduced to the BTS/Mossa group training programs and I was hooked!! I

 Hey Ya'll! I am Whitney McCabe from Bourne, MA. I have always loved working out, playing sports and being around people. I started indoor cycling in 2014 at Get Fit., and have been addicted ever since. For that reason, I became a certified Cycle instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics in 2017. Not only is it a physical workout but a mental one too. I want to be pushed and to push others to reach their personal goals, all while having fun and listening to good jams! This year, I will be taking my love for riding outdoors, and will be participating in the 2017 Two Day Pan- Mass Challenge! My motto is to set goals, work hard, and achieve them! I am the newest recruit here at Get Fit and I couldn’t be happier to be putting in the work alongside such motivated and strong women. I have worked out in countless gyms, clubs, studios, and Crossfit Boxes over the years and fell in love with what movement has done for me. It became an itch I needed to scratch daily, then a habit, and now it's my lifestyle. My favorite type of workout is one that tests my strength with weights and gives me an intense cardio burst, leaving me feeling energized and powerful! I truly believe movement is the best medicine. It has helped me through the good, hard, and sad times, along with every other difficulty life has thrown at me. I am the best version of myself when I am pushing through a physically and mentally hard work out; coming out on the other side so proud and accomplished.  When all this clicked for me, I knew I had to find an outlet to help others feel like the best versions of themselves as well. I am so thrilled to bring that passion and energy to Get Fit on the bike. Getting certified with Mad Dog Athletics was the first step to so many exciting fitness achievements to come.   
As a busy mom of two with a husband who travels for work, I know how valuable time is and I promise to NEVER waste your time when you show up for class. I also promise you that the only workout you will regret is the one you didn’t do! So, let’s build healthy habits day by day with one another and I will be your biggest cheerleader along the way.  Motivation comes and goes but staying consistent with your health journey will produce results. So lets clip in, jam out, buckle up and see what great things we can accomplish.
