My name is Cheryl Ruggiero. I am a Certified Pilates Practitioner with over sixteen years of experience in both Mat and Machine Pilates. I have taught at various gyms and studios all over the Cape - even on the beach! My classes are open to all fitness levels from beginner to advanced through the use of modifications. You're able to make the class your own and I'll encourage you to listen to your body. We'll incorporate light weights, balls and circles into our workouts. Pilates with Props: Mat Pilates is a blend of strength and flexibility training that improves posture, reduces stress, and creates long lean muscles without bulk. Pilates takes a balanced approach to exercise so that no muscle group is overworked. In mat with props, rings, bands, weighted balls and stability balls are incorporated to add variety and core challenge.
